Office Dogs in San Francisco: Meet the Squad that Boosts Workplace Culture at P.L.A.Y.
At P.L.A.Y. (Pet Lifestyle and You), our dog-friendly office is never short on wagging tails, squeaky toys and furry co-workers who brighten our days. Each of our office dogs has their own unique personality, quirks and story that make them part of the P.L.A.Y. family.
From sassy divas to gentle teachers, these pups (both past and present) inspire us daily and remind us why we do what we do: creating eco-friendly dog beds, durable dog toys and stylish pet essentials designed with pets, people and the planet in mind.
Shiso

Shiso is one of our playful office dogs at the P.L.A.Y. HQ. She may be timid at first, but once she warms up, this four-year-old mix of terrier, cattle dog, Chow Chow and Labrador turns into a goofy greeter. Her short legs and floppy ears make her easy to spot in our dog-friendly workplace.
Her mom describes her as “sassy and sweet, picky, cautious and silently judging everyone.” A true treat connoisseur, she prefers freeze-dried pork snacks above all else (the expensive kind too). Shiso also takes her role as our unofficial office security seriously, barking at any unusual noise or even at our display dogs.
Despite her quirky personality, Shiso has a very patient, soft side. She is gentle with children, giving sweet hugs and kisses, and she brings endless joy to the office with her playful energy. Her favorite part of coming to work is spending the day with her mom, getting spoiled by her “aunties” and chasing or snuggling with her beloved squeaky P.L.A.Y. tennis balls.
Willow

Willow is 13 years and 8 months old. Also known to her parents as a “Bee” and the “Goodest Girl” of our hearts. She is a husky, shepherd, pitbull, malamute mix, with many more breeds mixed in there. Willow is always watching out for open food in the office, buzzing around, waiting for someone to notice her puppy dog eyes, which insist that we share our human food.
Willow is a pup of many skills: she went to circus school for a few years and has a ton of special unique tricks she learned there; she is an AKC Canine Good Citizen; and she is particularly skilled as a teacher for young puppies, helping them learn good manners.
As the poised pup she is, she has modeled for many P.L.A.Y. photoshoots as well as inspiring our Willow’s Mythical Collection, bringing an even deeper personal touch to what we create.
Kowi

He loves to play tug-of-war and run around the office with his favorite squeaky Chick Me Out toy. It’s not uncommon for our customers to hear squeaks through the phone, which brings a smile to all our faces!
Kowi always brings giggles to our office with his clumsy walks and is working on his own special tricks and scenting skills. If you meet him in person, he is guaranteed to give you his signature “lean in” for a hug.
Broadway

Broadway, our five-year-old Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel + Poodle), is the office diva, and she owns it. She visits us a few times a month, instantly commanding the room with her teddy bear looks and confident personality.
Broadway is friendly but selective; she knows exactly what she wants and isn’t afraid to say no (usually with a dramatic flair). While affection from strangers isn’t always her thing, she’s quick to warm up when treats are involved. This clever, food-motivated girl will happily exchange a few tricks or some attention for a snack!
What makes Broadway special is her bold, independent spirit. She reminds us all that setting boundaries is healthy and that self-confidence is something to celebrate. Whether she’s enjoying belly rubs from her favorite people or basking in the spotlight, Broadway is a natural star among our office dogs.
Rhino

Our now remote pup, Rhino, first started working in-office every day! From a tiny puppy to the largest Pembroke Welsh Corgi the office has ever seen—tipping the scales at 46 lbs—Rhino proudly earned the nickname “fluffy” from his mom. As an intern, he was known for his chatty streak, often landing in timeout for barking his opinions throughout the day. These days, Rhino works fully remote, but still makes sure his voice is heard by chiming in on his mom’s marketing calls.
For all 10 years of his life, this talkative corgi has been a loyal fan of P.L.A.Y. products. His all-time top pick is the Chill Pad, though he never turns down a good game of fetch and is currently obsessed with his Spot’s Sushi plush toy. Rhino may no longer walk our office halls, but he continues to embody the playful spirit that makes P.L.A.Y. what it is, even remotely!
Luna

Luna’s life began when a kind customer rescued her from a storm drain and brought her into her mom’s work at the time. From there, Luna’s parents took her in, bottle-fed her, treated her for fleas and worms and gave her the fresh start she deserved.
You’d never guess her rough beginning, though, because Luna has lived every day since as if it’s her best! She’s full of nervous energy and a little bit of chaos (true to her name, she’s a total lunatic!), but she’s happiest when Mom or Dad is close by.
Luna loves rotating from bed to bed throughout the day, squeaking her toys loud enough for the whole house to enjoy and snuggling up with her kitty sisters – she’s pretty sure she’s a cat herself. Luna is pure-hearted, special, delightfully insane and still deciding which of her office aunties is her favorite.
Our Fur-ever Office Dogs <3
Momo – The Chief Pug Officer Who Inspired P.L.A.Y.
Momo wasn’t just founders Will and Deb’s beloved pug, she was the inspiration behind P.L.A.Y. itself. From the moment she joined their family, Momo filled their lives with joy, curiosity and snuggles. Born on July 16, she was sweet yet sassy, always reminding everyone that she was the true princess of the office, proving her Cancer zodiac sign to be true.
When Will and Deb struggled to find a high-quality dog bed that met Momo’s needs, they decided to create one themselves. That search led to the founding of P.L.A.Y. (Pet Lifestyle and You), a brand dedicated to eco-friendly dog beds, durable dog toys and stylish pet essentials that improve the lives of pets everywhere. Momo found her two favorite beds created by her parents: the Snuggle Bed, where she loved to nuzzle into, and the Moroccan Lounge Bed, where she perched to watch her parents work hard.
Though Momo has since passed in 2024, her paw prints remain at the heart of everything we do. Every product we create is inspired by her love and the happiness she brought, ensuring pets around the world experience the same comfort and care that Momo once did.
Corbin – The Black Lab Behind Camp Corbin

Corbin, Bill and Nat’s beloved black Labrador Retriever, was one of the founding dogs of P.L.A.Y. Alongside Momo, he helped shape our brand in its earliest days, testing beds, toys and more. Known as “Corbin the Saint,” he was a gentle, people-loving lab who adored hiking, camping, swimming, and of course, fetch — the ultimate Labrador pastime.
His adventurous spirit inspired the Camp Corbin Collection, one of our top-selling lines of durable dog toys. Corbin passed in 2020 at nearly 16 years old, leaving behind an incredible legacy of love, joy and resilience. His memory lives on through the toys that carry his name and the many pets and people he touched along the way.
